The signals AI answer engines read are different from the signals Google rewards. Structured data, llms.txt, entity clarity, and authoritative citations matter more than backlink counts or keyword density. Most local service businesses have never been optimized for those signals because the category — generative engine optimization — barely existed two years ago.

RankAnswers is founded and run by Kashif Nazir Khan, based in Munich, DE. Kashif studied computer science at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and graduated with the Rector's Award. He works in English, German, and Urdu.

Prior background spans software engineering and applied AI. The methodology behind RankAnswers is the product of running structured retrieval experiments against every major AI answer engine and distilling what actually moves citation frequency.
